ARTWORK #12:
“High Femme”
2/11/20
Adobe Illustrator
17 in x 11 in x 0 in
For this project, we were asked to go to the Pioneer Square Art Walk and create a “Fan Art” piece based on what we saw at the exhibit. The photo on the left is a wall I found at the art walk. The photo on the right is my fan art piece inspired by the wall.
ARTWORK #13:
“Ashli & Jonathan Wedding Thank You Card”
2/18/20
Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign
7 in x 10 in x 0 in (per spread)
For this project, we were asked to create different greeting card designs. For my “Thank You” greeting card, I decided to make a wedding themed thank you card for my cousin, Jonathan, and his soon to be wife, Ashli. I thought it was the perfect opportunity to create something that could have potential use outside of the classroom. They loved my design and have decided to use it after they have their wedding.
ARTWORK #14:
“Self Portrait”
1/10/20
Adobe Illustrator
17 in x 11 in x 0 in
One of the first projects for this class was to create a self-portrait using Adobe Illustrator. My first draft of my self-portrait I was not happy with, so I created this piece instead. I like the idea of creating self-portraits that do portray your visible and physical appearance but can also show other sides and styles.
ARTWORK #15:
“Seattle Locals Digital Book Design”
3/19/20
Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign
8 in x 6 in x 0 in (cover)
8 in x 12 in x 0 in (per spread)
For my final project in this course, I created a digital book design showcasing all the well-known Seattle born musicians in a Spotify playlist themed book. Each spread is supposed to resemble a Spotify playlist/song, including lyrics, top three songs, and fun facts powered by Genius (but not really).
